Sanskrit study is important for yoga instructors and serious practitioners, as it is the home of yoga and its philosophy.  Using english to describe yoga is like using 2 dimensions to describe a 3D world.

In learning sanskrit, we obtain a more direct link to the teachings of yoga: unedited, untranslated, unfiltered by the limitations of some later follower's level of awareness.

Sanskrit is easy and fun to learn!

"Sanskrtam" means "well-made": its structure is based upon finding the clearest sounds - sounds which resonate at specific positions in the human palate and brain - a process each individual can do.

Just as yoga postures provide us a progressively deeper, felt-sense understanding of how to move our bodies, sanskrit offers us a felt-sense of how sounds can lead us inward to meditation.

Incredibly resonant & uplifting, sanskrit offers an inner doorway to the Divine.
